Have you ever heard the expression, kids are always better for someone other than their parents?  Lately, this little stinker has given mom and dad a lesson in patience.  Good thing he's cute.

While in the mountains, Staley and I decided to stop and check out the cool firehouse.  We were really surprised when a fireman walked out and offered to show him around.  Can you tell he's excited?

Seeing Snow

This past weekend, Staley and I went up to Wintergreen to visit our friend Forbes and some of her friends from college.  It was really Staley's first big snow experience and he had a great time.  Here are some pictures of him while we were there - Henry is about the same age as Staley so it was really fun for them to have a buddy.  Next year - we ski!

We are in the process of joining a church here in Durham.  We are really enjoying the experience and loving the sense of community.  Here's a picture from our after church meal at Only Burger.  God, Staley looks like his dad!

Happy Birthday Amy

Our beloved Amy ended up sick on her birthday.  Too bad. She really is the greatest and keeps our family moving.  Happy birthday Amy!

Shaving Cream

It's been brutally cold here this past weekend.  So, I found a sensory activity that I thought would be fun to try out, playing with shaving cream.  Staley loved it - I about had a heart attack with the mess.  Sometimes you just have to let go!
