A few of his favorite things

Lately when Staley goes missing, chances are that he's sitting in the rocking chair. He loves it. It's funny to see such a little man in such a big chair. Other things that make Staley smile... Dad's hats. Today we found him in the rocking chair with Dad's hat.

Fathers Day at the Farm

We had a terrific time at the Bumm family house for Father's day. Staley got to ride on the tractor and play in the woods. He loves how Queen B and Jaybird spool him!

Staley and Owen take on Soccer

Staley is getting more and more comfortable with playing soccer. It helps to have Owen there. It's really a hoot to see them playing together (and a bit exhausting for us parents).

Busy Weekend

Staley Bumm was very active this weekend. This picture was during his naptime - It cracked me up because he fell asleep holding onto "Blue" (his name for the blue dog).

Soccer

Last Saturday Staley started soccer. He's a bunny at Little Kickers. Although he spent most of his time observing, he did enjoy the "stomping bubbles" part!

The Beach

Last weekend we decided to head to the beach for a quick trip. Staley had a great time - he enjoyed the water and sand but spent most of his time on the porch in the blow up pool. Oh well, at least we had a good view of the beach :)

Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial Day weekend marks the start of summer. We think it also marked the jump from baby to little boy. Pictures below include visiting the tractor at the golf course, first sprinkler experience, and painting with water. This kid is so much fun. We must have had a great memorial day weekend where alcoholic beverages (often referred to as Mommy Juice) were flowing. On Tuesday morning, Staley refused to drink milk and asked for mommy juice the entire time. We thought that was hysterical!
