Cherry Trees

We were over at the Shaw household on Saturday afternoon enjoying the summer-like weather. They have a beautiful cherry tree and she took some awesome photos of Staley. Here are a few of our favorites.

This photograph is from sometime in the middle of the race. I love it. Reminds me of what a beautiful experience this race was for me.

Water

Somebody loved the water in March!

















Note: I know his shorts are too big but they grow so quickly at first that when it slows down, I'm totally caught of guard!

Beach Weekend

This weekend, we headed to the beach to get some r'n'r. Racing and relaxing! Betsy ran a 1/2 marathon with Jay and Danielle. It was perfect weather and we all finished! Staley enjoyed the warm weather. He still loves the beach. In honor of March Madness, Staley wore his basketball outfit and helped cheer on State to the Sweet 16!

Corn

Staley tried corn on the cob for the first time last friday. He figured out it's a lot easier to eat when someone else holds the cob.

Back away Lady

Last Friday, some friends of ours, Courtney and Clarissa gave Staley a really cool fire truck. I let Staley see it as I was buckling him into his seat. He decided to hold it on his lap the entire way home. He loves it!

Sand Table

Last weekend I made some sand (flour and baby oil). Staley had a great time making a mess at the kitchen table. Here's a picture from the morning....

Staley's First Love

I think he'd sleep with this car in his crib if he could.
