Hanging with LaLa

One of the many reasons I feel good about Staley's time with Lisa (the nanny or as Staley calls her "LaLa") is the field trips she takes the boys on. Yesterday they went and visited the Eno. Here's a photo from their trip. Staley's chatting away - as usual.

Christmas Time is Here

Christmas was amazing this year. Staley had a great time opening presents - I was totally overwhelmed by the amount of stuff one kid can get! We went to the family service at Church. All children are given costumes to be a part of a live nativity during the service. Staley was a wise man - but fell asleep in mom's arms during "silent night." We feel really blessed.

Playing with GavMan

Owen went to visit his grandparents a little early for Christmas. Yesterday, Lisa came to our house and brought Gavin for a fun play date. These are some pictures from the adventures. How cute!

Playing with Carter

Danielle and Jay babysat Carter (Tamara's daughter) last night. We decided to organize a play date and boy did they have fun! They really enjoyed the free box!

Great Timing

The trees across the street from the Hervey-Peterman house are being cut down and the boys got a front seat view of the action. They loved it!

Busy Weekend with Santa

We had a great weekend with Santa activities all weekend long. Saturday night we went to ride the Santa Train at the Museum of Life and Science and Sunday we went to a party that Santa attended. Although we didn't get any pictures of meeting Santa, we did get this one. He's all dressed up in the yard.

My First Birthday

My birthday was tops! The theme was the Very Hungry Caterpiller. Aunt Mer made the cake, nonnie made the sandwiches, and I even helped make the party favors. Dylan and Owen joined in the cake eating fun. All the grandparents and even Jill came. It was the best birthday ever.

Storytime Bust

Lisa's been trying to take the boys to Story time for about two weeks. Every time they get to the library, there's some odd reason why it's not happening. It's ok. I think the boys enjoyed their time there anyways. See those two flashes of blond head? That's the boys zooming around!
